Rebuilding a legacy frontend while the ship kept sailing

Rebuilt an Angular 1 enterprise analytics app in React, TypeScript, and Vite — with a hybrid architecture that let both frameworks run side by side during the migration. Then retooled how the team works: custom agents, hooks, and dual-purpose docs for AI-assisted development.

mealforge — meal planning over MCP

Plan the week conversationally in any MCP-capable chat; the model pushes structured recipes to the app and the grocery list derives itself. No recipe catalog, self-hostable, one SQLite file.

Off the clock

Strong believer in owning your data — degoogled phone, a homelab running twenty-some self-hosted services, and an AI stack I run myself. The rest of the time I'm dialing in espresso, drifting RC cars, or wrenching on my GTI. More about all that →
